Slash Kakashi/Iruka

An excellent story that covers Iruka from when he first meets Kakashi at the age of 6 until they are involved in his late 20’s. The story ends soon after Naruto has gone on his training trip. This is a character driven story and it is beautifully done. The story is from Iruka’s point of view and keeps a lot to canon. Here he meets Kakashi many times before the exams both as an Anbu and as the Copy Nin. Iruka falls in love with his Anbu that saves his life several times and eventually becomes his lover even if he never sees his face. When Anbu-san must say goodbye Iruka is heartbroken but understands. He slowly becomes friends with Kakashi after meeting on a mission. Eventually he falls for him and near the end of the story he finally puts it all together to realize that his first love and his last love are the same. You get a depth of feeling that is surprising when you realize just how slow the romance in both cases is going. While there is action and some sex that is not the driving point of the story, instead it is just how much one person can become woven into the life of another. A satisfying, feel good read that is welcome any day.

Great, great story that is both heartwrenching and hopeful. Kakashi and Iruka are together and have been for 6 months when Iruka finds that he needs surgery for a brain tumor. Due to the surgery he loses a years worth of memory unfortunately that includes Kakashi. Iruka refuses to believe Kakashi when he tells him since no one else knew. Kakashi vows to win him again. This is where it gets heart breaking because there is nothing worse then having the one you love look at you with no recognition. Maybe this just hit me so hard because I recently lost my mother to dementia and there is nothing that can hurt you more then have a loved one look at you like a stranger. Kakashi tries his best and there are several twist just when you think they are going to work something out. Iruka is at a disadvantage because he feels that Kakashi will never accept him because he is not the man he was before. It is a sad tale about love lost, friendship and love gained.

Iruka is so overlooked mainly because he is a Chuunin Instructor. What people forget is that he is the best instructor in the academy and regularly turns children in fighters. In this story he is in the wrong place at the right time to see an attack on his village. The thought of his children and friends in danger pushes him to extremes. Luckily his love of history shows him how to stall any further attacks until help can arrive. When Kakashi sees his secret love in danger he proves to Konoha just why he is considered so dangerous. Nothing will stand between him and his love. You see the dangerous warrior and killing machine Anbu that he hides behind his lazy persona. He decides the only one that can help Iruka heal is him and he calls in some friends to find out who hurt his beloved and tried to destroy his village. By the time The Hound, The Fox, The Feline and The Turtle get done Kami have mercy on them for they have none.
An excellent story with a little seen side of Kakashi and Iruka. I hope the author gets around to a sequel soon.

Oneshot that is hilarious don't worry there is no death in this story.

It's two in the morning, the street lamp tried to attack him, the road just bit him, and Iruka is stuck with the taste of soggy pork dumplings in his mouth. At least he managed to escape the marauding gang of eels that tried to steal his pants. All in all, Iruka's funeral went wonderfully!

Hot, Hot fic between Kakashi and Iruka one of my favorite pairings. This one it is Halloween and two parties that Iruka has to attend. One Kakashi is a hot vampire who realizes that Iruka is interested. They get separated and Iruka heads to the next party where he meets Kakashi again only he has changed clothes to match Irukas werewolf outfit. That's as far as I will go except to say Damn I wish I wrote that.

All the Broken Pieces (Kakashi/Iruka)

This takes place in the time skip and it is all due to a bet. Tsunade bets Asuma that Kakashi can turn Iruka into a Jounin in two months. No one least of all those two expected a romance. This is not a jump into bed and fuck like bunnies those some of those are good as well. It is broken into 3 parts, the first part is funny, the middle is horrible (torture scenes), and the last part is the mushy scenes. An all around good story.

It's funny, sad, and fluffy at the same time with some great scenes. I love how Kakashi's perception of Iruka changes but Iruka is not some super ninja hiding behind a mild facade. The scene where Gai interrupts is hilarious.
