Good story with just enough differences to not be another Harry raises himself. Harry as Heru comes to this world the night the Potters are killed. He immediately collects young Harry and creating his own Wizarding space creates a unique home. I would love a tree mansion like that not to mention the sanctuary he creates. The changes flow freely after that as Heru is determined that those he cared for will have a better life. He intends to finish everything before Harry has to. Slowly he involves more and more people in his crusade to give Harry the life he deserves. It finally comes to head just before Harry goes to Hogwarts. An enjoyable story. The story is fluffy, funny, deception abounds and Heru proves to be an interesting character. Pairings are Severus/Heru and Sirius/Remus

Great, great story about Kurt and David. This follows after Valentine's day and Kurt finds out just how David feels about him. Kurt is tired of being second place and decides to break up with Blaine. He tells David he doesn't want him to be a rebound relationship so they need to take it slow. Then it just gets crazy. There is a lot of great buildup with the characters and some excellent reasons for their behavior. Kurt realizes that he doesn't have to settle for anything and David realizes that the growing up he did means he does deserve love. This story is funny, sad, angry, loving, it just has it all. There is one scene where Kurt is reading a note that Sebastian left begging him to take back Blaine because he never realized what a whiny shit he was I almost died laughing.

This is an awesome story and unusual in that the perspective is majorly from Spock. Observations is a journal of his thoughts on serving on the Enterprise and James T. Kirk. It is long and very intense in spots. When it comes to his interactions and eventual relationship with Kirk there is no instant bond mates and happy ever after. This story is not for everyone in while there is action and romance the bulk of the story is made up of Spock's thoughts on the missions and the people. I admit there were parts that I sped read through because it was too scientific or mathematical. But it is worth the read, the story is huge and I would love to see author do a story from Kirks' point of view because I believe that they could bring new insights to that character. This is also one of the first stories where the author realizes that Spock is 1/2 alien raised on an alien planet with only a little insight into human mores and values. Too many authors make Spock a logical human.

People especially the young believe that love conquers all and that falling in love brings instant happiness. Then they find out that reality exists and give up figuring that it was never real love. They should read this story because the best description of romance, love and commitment I have ever read is in chapter 163.

In addition this quote is something that I have lived my whole life believing just never put into words like this.

"and sometimes we get hit with the biggest blackest storm anyone could ever imagine. That's not a reason to give up. That's not a reason to stop living. You find that when the hammer hits the anvil, you're the anvil. You get knocked around and beat up, but in the end it's the hammer that breaks, and the anvil remains. People're stronger than they think they are. They want to live more than they know they do."

This story is hands down the best look into Spock and his beliefs and thoughts. There is angst, misunderstandings, cultural mishaps, loss and at the heart of the story is an epic relationship that defines Spock and Kirk. There are parts I cried at and others where I cringed and wondered just how worse things were going to get but I am glad I read this story and have it downloaded so I can read again. Just realize that this is one of those stories the ones that once you start you can not put it down.

Tricks and Traps (Kakashi/Iruka)

A romantic justification of why Iruka is not a Jounin. Well sorta, Ibiki and the Hokage test Iruka and the first test is to capture and deliver Kakashi. It goes downhill from there prepare to laugh like hell and the lemons are hot.

Sneaking Around Konoha (Kakashi/Harry)

I do tend to love Naruto/Harry Potter crossovers. This is a Kakashi/Harry that is light hearted and fun to read. I can so see the two of them together. In this one Harry and Teddy are stranded in the Naruto world due to a spell and after wandering and of course saving people settle down in Konoha so Teddy can be come a Shinobi. His Jounin is Kakashi.

Life Renovations (Draco/Harry)

This is a multi-story that begins with Harry in a coma with the delicious Draco playing the white knight. I do love Draco/Harry stories when they are done well because there is just so much potential. This has the manipulative, evil Dumbledore that for once is not over the top and a strong Hermione that lives up to her potential with the creature inheritance and the excellent, well crafted OC's this is a great series.

The Black Bunny (Voldemort/Harry)

This is one of those fics not to read at work because parts are funny and your co-workers will look at you funny when you are laughing at your computer. This is one of the more realistic Voldemort/Harry and Hermione not only supports him but is an essential part of the story.
