Smallville Day

Smallville Day by tripleLLL

Clark/Lex

Great story in which Clark learns a lot about himself when Friday starts repeating itself. At first Clark takes it as a fluke of Smallville and does not treat it seriously. As time continues he begins to see consequences to his actions especially in regards to Lex. When Lex is killed by his father he begins to take it seriously. He learns that Lex will always be there for him, his friends have their limits, his behavior has consequences, that there those that are stronger then him, that he is not in fact immortal and can be killed, and most important that love deserves trust and will not flourish without it. He finds out what is causing the time-loops and tries to solve the problem. Towards the end the others begin to develop dejavue as they start to remember and he becomes more and more ill. At the end he has to decide if he wants a relationship with Lex then he must trust him with the truth. The author does a good job of creating suspense, angst, humor, and sex without going over the top as each day repeats. Clark is depicted as mature but still young and impulsive, Lex is also young and desperate for someone to trust in him and put him first. There are a lot of mistakes on both sides but it is a good depiction of what a relationship can be if you had multiple trys to get it right. Makes you think what you would do if you could live the day over.

P.S. not my best artwork but hard to do something when you have a headache and didn't feel like redoing it later since I had so many more waiting.

Harry Potter and The Breeding Darkness by Danyeallesama

Awesome story I do love Harry grows a backbone story and the connection with Riddle is so open to interpretation. In this Harry has no support when his name is pulled and in the process of trying to calm himself he retreats to his mind where he finds that his magic has placed a large barrier against something. Upon pulling down the barricade he realizes that the darkness does not have to be feared. He also finds out that over the years he has been using a lot of magic on a daily basis for the blockade and now that magic is accessible to him. He slowly realizes that he is not a light wizard and the there is more to Moody then he thought. He confronts the deatheator in disguise and asks to be taken to Voldemort. The first story shows Harry's trip to being a dark wizard and his alliance and help in restoring Voldemort. In the second story the relationship between the two really begin as they start to gather allies. Harry's character grows with the story he is strong, mature and ready to seek revenge on those that betrayed him and stand at the side of the only one who can match him. The story is by two different authors but definitely worth the read.

Phoenix (Illya/Napoleon)

Phoenix by Sheheyred

I have just recently started reading the Man from U.N.C.L.E stories and love the characters of Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin secret agents, secret lovers. This is an amazing story that just blew me away. The story flows well and the author makes the characters actions believable. The background of Illya features heavily in the story and their are hints along the way to the explosive ending. Remember the era is the Cold War and that Illya grew up as a child in WWII. The use of pain to regain control was done perfectly. When Illya finally lose that control the scene is hot as hell. The ending reflects the beginning and brings the story full circle. The explanation by Mr Waverly made me cry as he explains to Illya that not all he knew of his childhood was real and sometimes children will misinterpret horrible events. In the end they save each other and come through the pain with their relationship and partnership stronger then ever.
