Slash Steve/Bucky

Excellent story that I found awhile ago (I am still in the 2015’s in my email). Amazing story, this is the first I had ever seen this storyline but it was wonderful.I have seen only one other like this since then.  It was one of those stories you cannot stop reading because it grabs you by the throat and never lets go. The first few paragraphs are a little confusing because the author is jumping back and forth from the plane crash in the Artic to when Steve first becomes a super soldier. The basics is that Steve picks up telepathy that only manifests when Bucky is experimented on, afterwards they are on the the same brain wavelength and once he crashes into the ice, he is in pain and scared and begins to dream of Bucky. Bucky answers his calls and both began to wonder if they are alive or dead, soon both figure how to enter a world of their making. Every time Bucky is pulled out he comes back more distraught. Steve is aware that time is actually passing because he can get some information when Bucky comes back before he buries the memories. Until finally it is the Winter Soldier that comes back and it takes a while for Steve to make him believe that he is safe. The world is fractured but Steve has begun to connect to the Winter Soldier as they begin a journey to the Grand Canyon that Bucky always wanted to see. Soon they are joined by a giant green monster that calls itself Hulk and they realize that this is another weapon just like them. Then comes the time when Steve is pulled from the ice.  The story-line of the Avengers and The Winter Soldier still works and I love the ending. The ending is everything pulled together and they get to work on their happy ever after. I think what I found most impressive is that the author after a time shows that there is more winter soldier then bucky when he retreats to the dream world. The first time he does not change back because he can't remember makes you want to hug them both. Steve’s desperation to hold onto a little normality is compelling and when he comes out of the ice he is so desperate to have someone believe him and no one does until he meets the hulk again and Stark hears him call cap Steve. At one point the soldier is activated, Steve is trying to reach out to him mentally while the soldier is fighting to get to him before he is wiped. Unfortunately he is on a sub, he looses and Steve feels it all including the pain, the scene is so powerful that it just makes you cry. This is not he first or last just one that stands out the most to me. The author has an amazing knack for painting a scene that is both easy to visualize and showcases emotions vividly.
