I have just recently started reading the Man from U.N.C.L.E stories and love the characters of Napoleon Solo and Illya Kuryakin secret agents, secret lovers. This is an amazing story that just blew me away. The story flows well and the author makes the characters actions believable. The background of Illya features heavily in the story and their are hints along the way to the explosive ending. Remember the era is the Cold War and that Illya grew up as a child in WWII. The use of pain to regain control was done perfectly. When Illya finally lose that control the scene is hot as hell. The ending reflects the beginning and brings the story full circle. The explanation by Mr Waverly made me cry as he explains to Illya that not all he knew of his childhood was real and sometimes children will misinterpret horrible events. In the end they save each other and come through the pain with their relationship and partnership stronger then ever.
